Allowing app installs from trusted sources in Android
The Android Operating System will restrict any applications that are downloaded from outside the Google Play Store.
If it’s your first time installing an app from outside the Google Play Store, you’ll be greeted with “Install blocked. For security, your device is set to block installation of applications not obtained from the Play Store.” So, what can we do next?
To allow app installs from outside the Google Play store, follow these steps:
1. Open Settings > General > Security
2. Check the option for “trusted sources”
3. Tap OK on the prompt message.
That’s it, now you can download the PressReader app.
